Indian passport holders need a visa for Armenia and can apply online for an e-Visa—reviewed from the Embassy of Armenia to India. Required documents for the e-Visa pathway are listed below. “INDIA-SCOPED READING (ordinary Indian passport; tourism): You will need a visa to enter Armenia if you are holding a travel document issued by India. Nationals of India holding ordinary passports require a visa. Electronic visa / e-Visa is available via the Armenia e-Visa portal for eligible applications. Processing time is within 3 working days. Border entry without prior Armenia visa issuance is only for holders of qualifying third-country visas or residence permits — not the general Indian tourism path. Do not publish the temporary residence-permit pathway as ordinary Indian not_required entry.”

    Provide one of:
    • Valid residence permit or visa from EU/Schengen, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, UK, Canada, RF, or Japan — or a GCC residence permit (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, or Oman). Other supporting documents if available.
    • Air ticket reservation (return ticket; one-way only for education/work or other justified cases), invitation from an interested party in Armenia, and proof of financial means (bank statement for the last 3 months, employment certificate with salary, work contract, or other proofs). Other supporting documents if available.
